What treatment should I take for stomach disorder ?

hi i m preeti from nasik... my mom is having a burning sensation in her stomach frm last couple of weeks ... shes been takin lafaxid 10 twice a day before her meals..also done an endoscopy where doctor diagnosed that she had inflammation in her stomach.... shes fine until she takes lafaxid ..but once she stops it the problem arises again . please suggests me with some usefull treatment.... thank u !!

Hi well come to HCM.
It seems she is suffering from gastritis.She should take pantaprozole, rabiprazole
omiprazole like drug.Acid peptic disorder usually goes with drugs and reappear if
precipitating factors like stress,spicy food,tobacco,smoking,alcohol,gastric irritant
drugs, sleep disturbance etc are there.You got to take care of all this factor if
you want get rid of acid peptic disease. Thanks

Medicines alone will not work.
Minimize stress.
Take regular meals or three meals divided into four.
Avoid spicy and citrus or acidic food.
Do not take tea or coffee on empty stomach.
Drink plenty of water.
Eat fresh leafy vegetables and fruits
Eat the food which is easily digestible.
If all these measures are not working then get your investigation done for Helicobactor Pylori,endoscopy etc
