What To Do If Birth Control Is Taken Earlier Than Required?

I have a new birth control pack that is supposed to start tomorrow(ended the in actives today) I went to go to bed and realized the first 2 pills(sunday and monday are missing)...I don't know what happened to them if took them in my sleep or what...but I don't know what to do? Should I just continue until tuesday and restart taking the pills then?

Hi,
Since you are not sure whether you have taken the pills or if the pills are missing otherwise, I would suggest going for a new pack and start the medication as per schedule in order to avoid unnecessary hassles. Even if you have taken the pills, it would do no harm as you have already skipped one day. Also, if you try to skip pills for two more days, you may land up with a withdrawal bleed that can disturb your cycle. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
