What Medication Is Suggested For Tightness Around Chest Area?

i have tightness in my chest and the front of my neck right at the base of my throat when i breathe deeply or bend over....it feels like it is directly related to my bowels in some way...belching or farting eases it but only momentarily...what is wrong with me?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Since your chest tightness is relieved by belching and farting, possibility of GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) related tightness is more.
GERD is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause symptoms of chest tightness, gaseous distention etc.
So you should do following things for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid stress and tension.
2. Avoid hot and spicy food.
3. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
4. Take proton pump inhibitor and pro kinetic drug combination.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
