Mostly due to gas I have lost my appetite it s hard to stay hungry when every time you burp you feel like throwing up.

Hi,
The symptoms you are feeling could be due to gastritis as well as a delayed period. You may repeat the HPT and if still negative, go for a blood test followed by a sonogram, preferably a trans-vaginal ultrasound. You need a proper complete couple work up if you have not conceived, to locate...

Hi,

I recently have been having intermittent headaches and feelings of dizziness/light-headedness. This has coincided with burping or belching and heartburn relieved by burdping or coughing. I also have a pain in my back and arm which I have for years but has been acting up more with the above symptoms.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, you have been having headache, dizzyness, burping, heartburn, eased by burping, or coughing.
It appears to be the gastric irritation, by pepticulcer, or irritant foods.
I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe a combination of omeprazole and domperidone, and antacid gel. Thank you....

Hi, I started burping non-stop. No matter what I eat I would burp all day. Usually starts after first meal (breakfast) and especially at night when I m done with work and standing up/walking. I feel bloated sometimes too. No pain anywhere, just constant annoying burps. (except when going to sleep ). Should I get my intestines/ stomach checked? Or is this something else?

doctor1 MD

Hi Jenny, Welcome to HCM.

Burping is a very natural process. However, when in excess, it just means thats these is definitely some problem. This can either be due to consumption of gas forming foods, untimely eating and excessive eating, regurgitation due to some issue with the Gastro intestinal...

Hello, thanks for the query to H.C. M.
I would like to say very clearly that our own eating habits and nature of living style are responsible for these type of burps, bloating, gastritis, sore mouth, indigestion etc.
Please don't take it otherwise because this is not personal matter for you but...

52 - female, I started with a gurgling stomach a few months ago, and then burping, and finally woke one night to extreme acid reflux . I read about low stomach acid and tried HCL and it has been helping me digest my food. I have constipation , a slight pain under my rib cage, tested and had ultrasound for everything, and results were all good. So my naturopath believes pylori might be the culprit. I am very healthy otherwise, thin, and eat organic foods, in the summer I grow my veggies, I know longer drink coffee, tea, alcohol , or sugar. Does this sound like pylori causing my low stomach acid.? Help, thanks.!

Good evening, I had a recent bout of what my GP described as gastro virus. Symptoms were bloating , severe cramping with constant burping and flatulence . No vomiting or diarrhoea. I had feverish feelings but no high temp. This lasted for 4 days and is thankfully almost gone. The day I went to my GP (4th day) I was developing a rash on my face and forehead . I thought it might be the stress of the previous days and nights. My GP didnt have an opinion. This has gotten somewhat worse. It is not itchy but has a burning sensation and very noticeboard. I was wondering if this might be an after effect of my stomach ailment or something else. I have been applying a mild moisturiser with no effect as yet. Thank you for any advice.

Hello, After one night of vomitting 7 times, I began belching after everything I swallow. They are not huge belches, they only release air. It can be water, a taste of something like an almond , a snack, or a meal. I also belch when I get up in the morning and sometimes when I bend over, but rarely inbetween meals. There is no pain. This has continued for 5 months and it has not changed or skipped a swallowing event even once. I have had blood tests, a colonscopy, endoscopy , abdomen ultrasound, and successful treatment for SIBO. Everything is normal. My first gastroenterologist gave up and now my second one wants me to stick a pencil in my mouth (which also did not help) and prescribe a small dose of Nortriptyline , of which I am leary due to the side effects. Do you think something mechanical happened to the esophagus , diaphram, or stomach muscles when I had the original vomitting incident? It seems like my doctors think it is in my head. The latter one thinks I burp on purpose. I have never had anything like this before the vomitting incident. I also have a naturopath treating me for SIBO and leaky gut syndrome, but she has not done any tests for it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had stomach pains which felt like gas a week ago. I also had a lot of burping. I ate a lot of raw vegetables that night, along with a lobster roll.I also normally do not eat a lot of wheat gluten . I have had normal bowel movements all week. I have a small bruise in the area where the pains were. It still feels like stitch in that area. My stomach was hard and distended. I also have some pressure when I urinate. It does feel better than before but it is not completely gone. What could it be?
