I have a few sores on my upper outer labia. They started as bumps and then turned purplish red and they were hard. They burn and it is very itchy, especially when i sit for long periods of time. There is pain and it sometimes keeps me awake at night. The sores have faded after almost 2 weeks, but the labia in that is still hard, sore and burning.
Down lower in the vagina area is fine, no problem, just up high on the labia and its only on the right side.
I am 60 been married for 36 years and we have both been faithful. I can't see it being genital herpes. What could it be. I use the hot tub at the gym 3 times a week, could it be something from it?
