What Is The Cause Of Swelling In Left Leg Below The Knee?

my left leg from below the knee is swollen. the foot seems to be the worst. I am a 47 year old male, I have had a blood clot in that leg before maybe 12 years ago. I went to an urgent care they did an ultra sound and said that they didn t see a clot. that was 2 weeks ago and it seems to be getting worse

Hi!
I read carefully your query and i am sorry about you.
First of all you should go again at physician to do another ultrasound to rule out any arterial or venous blocking and than to consult with any infection because may be infection disease if you have fever.
The treatment depends from diagnosis if you have any block you may take anticoagulant ,aspirin and if is any infection you have to take antibiotics AINS.

Wishing you fast recovery.
