Awhile ago, back in April of 2013, I think I had a sore throat. I had a fever running about 102.5. I was really curious about my throat because my parents kept saying, "oh no, it's just a sore throat ". So I took a look inside and there were white spots on my tonsils. They were swollen also. Then we went to the doctors. She said that it was a certain virus believe. It was very contagious. Mostly in younger kids. I'm sixteen. She also told us to get maalox, and children's cough medicine. She told us to mix them together, and the gargle it so it coats the back of my throat and my tonsils. Today I have it again, but it's even worse this time. I have a terrible cough, sometimes it's very hard to breathe. It constantly hurts to swallow, eat, or drink. I've got the white spots, and my neck is usually tender. What could this be ?
