What Is The Cause Of Frequent Urge To Urinate?

Hello Doctor,
from the last three days i have this issue where i have this urge to urinate every half an hour. there is very little discomfort before urination, but after i urinate it feels better. sometimes there is a very mild pain in the lower abdomen. pls help

I understand your concern. Frequent urge to urinate is called polyuria. There are many causes which leads polyuria like Diabetes, infection of urinary bladder, Prostate problems etc.

In your case, as you are complaining of lower abdominal pain, it may be due to mild infection in your urinary bladder. however Blood tests are required to know the exact cause of your symptoms.

So try to meet your physician immediately and have a complete blood check up along with blood sugar levels.
