Hello dear Understand your concern Safe and effective option for abortion is mifepristone followed by misoprostol. But it should be done under observation of gynecologist after USG and proper investigations. 600 mg mifepristone orally should be followed by misoprostol vaginally after 24-48 hour (Two tablet of 200 mcg), if no bleeding another two tablet should be put by gynecologist after 4 hour. Dose should be modified by gynecologist if no bleeding is there. It cause minor side effects like bleeding (more than period), headache, abdominal cramp, diarrhea, nausea, tiredness etc. It does not affects the future pregnancies. But repeated use can cause problem in future pregnancies. Follow up USG should be done after 14 days to know the abortion process completeness. Proper rest, analgesic, healthy diet with iron supplements should be maintained.
