What Is The Best Medication For Anxiety And Depression?

I'm currently taking 900mg Lithium and 1.25mg Abilify daily. .5mg of Ativan to calm my anxiety when needed.
I am now experiencing major anxiety and my deep depression feels like it is coming back. My pdoc had me try Effexor and Seroquel within the last two weeks and both were horrible. I can't take SSRI's or SNRI's for depression so my question is what do you recommend I take to help with anxiety and depression.

Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are patient of bipolar disorder, in that case, any antidepressant could lead to manic switch. You can try pregabalin for anxiety and aripiprazole for depression. That would not lead to any major side effect and you would feel better with drugs. These drugs are not available over the counter, so discuss with your psychiatrist.

Thanks
