What Is Meaning Of Subcentimeteric Lymph Nodes N Left Axilla?
Doctor I am 30 years, on 30/4/2014 i had undergone my left breast surgery due to breast abcess. After that on 24/5/2014 i carryout a USG. Where all the report seems to be good except the following remarks subcentimetric lymph nodes are seen in left axilla Now my question is what is meant for the above remarks and it is any future effect in my life and also seeking your advise on this and oblige
Hi, Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic. Subcentimetric lymph nodes are nothing to be worried of. They will not cause any problem in your life in future. The lymph nodes usually get enlarged due to any infection/disease. In your case, they would have been enlarged because of the infection i.e. breast abscess. Once it has been treated now they are decreasing in size and have become smaller in size.
