Hi,
I had gone through your question and can understand your concern very well.

I would like to probe you few questions like your age, weight, whether you are taking any other medications or not, is the smear picture of normoblastic or megaloblastic, how much low of your WBC, RBC, Platelets and Hb.

I would like to tell you that only B12 is not enough for maturation of blood cells, folic acid is equally important, so in most cases, physician always prescribes folic acid along with B12. I would suggest you to take folic acid or you can take multivitamin tablets and repeat the CBC after 3 months.

I would also suggest you to take food which is rich in vitamins like milk, green leafy vegetables, fruits, etc. If the CBC picture remains same after 3 months, then you need to consult a physician for further work up.

Hope this answers your question and let me know if you have any further questions.
