What Does My Trans Vaginal Scan Findings Below Indicate?
sir, My LMP is 8/12/13 on 5/02/14 done a trans vaginal scanning . The report is Uterus - A single well defined gestational sac ii visualised in fundal region. Feta pole is ill defined. fetal heart rate is not seen.
CRL:measures 0.33cm corresponding to 6 weeks. IMPRESSION:Early , single intrauterine gestation with 6 weeks maturity SUGGEST :Repeat scan after 1 week .If there is anything to worry.
1.The report suggest there is a gestational sac seen in the uterus - endometrial cavity. 2.There is yolk sac and foetal pole seen in the gestational sac - which is normal finding. 3.Heart beat is not seen - which can be normal at times. 4.Usually trans vaginally by 5.5 weeks and trans abdominally 6.5 weeks one should get the heart beat. 5.In your case every thing appears to be normal = for heart beat you need to get a followup scan after 1 week to 10 days to know the viability.
Good luck. Hope i have answered your query, any thing to ask ? do not hesitate to ask. http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-ganesh/62888
