Any Effect On Fetus By Having Modus During Pregnancy?

I am 39 yrs, 70kg , asthmatic ...i missed my period for 2 months and I had a negative pregnancy test so a USG done that revealed a 4cm ovarian cyst. My dr gave a course of antibiotic and modus 10 mg for 7 days to induce my periods. 5 days after stoppig i didnt have my periods , did a repeat scan and it showed a gestational sac of around 4 - 5 weeks. Could modus affect my pregnancy ,can i abort? is there a risk to the fetus

Hi,

This drug should not be used during first 4 months of pregnancy, If pregnancy occurs while on this drug, it should be stopped immediately. Though it is not abortifacient but may cause minor birth defects.
