What Does My USG Report Indicate?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hello Dr. My USG report says- Hepatomegaly with grade 1 fatty infiltration. My cholesterol is 148, Triglicerides 174 mg. I am on medicine for Hypertention and also i take Astor 10 mg. Rgds shankar

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of test report is as follows:
The ultrasound shows presence of hepatomegaly or enlarged liver.
The enlarged liver shows presence of fatty infiltration or fatty change.
The total cholesterol and triglyceride level is within normal limits thus treatment is good enough.
