What Does Inflammatory Ascus Cells In Pap Smear Suggest?

i got an abnormal cervical pap smear result indicating inflammatory pattern with ASCUS cells. i have been given 10 days course of tiniba500 and doxy 1 and have been advised a re-pap smear after three months... what is the actual scenario of my health?

Hi, pap smear is the screening test for early diagnosis of cervical cancer. you have atypical cell of undermined significance. it means few atypical cells are thete we can't vonsider it as a normal or as cancer cell. you have inflammation also it will also lead to inflammatory atypia and confused the picture. So you need to clear inflammation first.after cleaning infection you should go for repeat pap smears examination. it will clear all doubts.
