What Does Bulging Disc At L4-L5 And Herniated Disc At L5-s1 Indicate?
Is it a dangerous condition to have a bulging disc at L4-L5 and a herniated disc at L5-s1 both of which are compressing the thecal sac. Patients symptoms are intermittent back pain and intermitten pain on left side of buttock and mild pain in left foot
As this is not a major condition and can be taken care of. Bulging disc and a herniated disc is due to degenerative changes in the intervertebral disc and this is one of the common problems which most people have. Some may have symptoms like - radiating pain where some may have nothing. Depends upon who has what symptoms they will be adviced to undergo physiotherapy session for strengthening the core muscles, spinal muscles, hip muscles, and lower limb as a whole. Most patients have a positive outcome post physiotherapy treatment.
