Hi,

May be you had an episode of cold recently and have congestion hence you may feel the ear is blocked and painful. The ear and the throat are connected internally through a tube known as eustachian tube which maintains the balance between the inside of the ear and the throat, since you have possible congestion this tube gets blocked and you feel the popping when you sneeze.

Please take Tab. Paracetamol 500 as needed and Tab. Levocet 5mg in the night for 3 days. Also, do steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil if available. Avoid exposure to cold air and close your ear with cotton for 2 days. If symptoms are persistent please have a physical examination in a clinic.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
