How Can Severe Headache Be Treated?

My husband started with an ear infection and also finds it hard to swallow and a severe headache. He was told it was a viral illness with an inner ear infection. His head really hurts. He is taking an antibiotic and an antibiotic ear drop. How can the headache be alleviated?

Mention a intensity and duration of pain with aggravating factor.
Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems.
Continue with your antibiotics course under doctor's suggestion.
Still there is no relief after taking antibiotics course than consult a doctor for further treatment.
