What Could Cause A Stomach Swelling Accompanied With Rash In The Arm Pits?

BACK IN OCTOBER 2013 I WAS SUDDENLY RUSHED TO TH E HOSPITAL WITH STOMACH SWELLING. IT FELT LIKE MY STOMACH WAS GOING TO EXPLODE. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS MY GALLBLADDER. DID A SONOGRAM AND DIDNT SEE ANY THING. GOT DEMEROL AND LEFT AFTER A DAY THERE. WAS TOLD TO GO TO A GASTROENTEROLOGIST. SINCE THEN I HAVE NOT GONE DUE TO NO INSURANCE AND NO MONEY. 4 MONTHS LATER, IM SWELLING, BLOATING 24-7. I HAVE HAD DIARRHEA FOR 3 MONTHS, EVERY DAY. I NOW HAVE A RASH UNDER BOTH ARM PITTS. I NEED ANSWERS AND HELP. I ALSO CANT SLEEP DUE TO SWEATING SOOOOOOOO MUCH ALL NIGHT, EVERY NIGHT. PLEASE HELP. THANK YOU !!!!!

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. What you have described is that you are having gastroparesis , its not a dangerous thing just like stomach goes slow but as have told that you have rash under arms than there could be these possibilities.

It could be diabetes mellitus with autonomic neuropathy (as you are having gastroparesis and sweating) and rash under arm could be ACANTHOSIS NIGRICANS ( you can google image it) whether it looks like that or not.

This rash is also associated with gastric carcinomas and as you are describing you may have some sort of dangerous pathology going on. So i suggest that you should visit your gastroenterologist for upper GI endoscopy and blood sugar testing.
