I would recommend you see a pediatric GI. Maybe ask for an endoscopy. Does she have any other symptoms other than the pain.

Hi, Lisett,
Thanks for query,
as nausea and pain is there for about a month he should be evaluated.
As Xray is normal nothing to worry but following things to be ruled out,
Infective hepatitis,
constipation,
Some warm infestation,
Wait till reports comes, mean while give anti emetic and anti spasmodic.
ok and bye

I am experiencing nausea every single morning, complete stomach pain shooting from high to low. I eat relatively healthy and exercise 5-6 times a week. But more common, is that no matter what I eat, my mouth and tongue go numb, like I ve ingested soap. Could it be liver-related? Id equate the feeling to an intense hangover that doesn t go away until dinner time.

My 30 year old son just had an endoscopy. He has had Barretts since the age of 7. He has had two fundo plycations, one open and one closed. He was at one time diagnosed with ehlers-danlos however now his doctor says he doesn t have it. Following his procedure today, the doctor said he had a very large opening into the pylorus, he even thought perhaps they had surgically relaxed the pyloric splinter. He stated what I already knew, that there was no record of this. He seemed to think this was a good thing. My son continues to have several digestive and elimination issues. Wouldn t a lax pyloric splinter be a bad thing? Could this be the reason he can t gain weight and be causing the stomach pains, nausea and inability to empty his bowels?

I am a student studying at Canada in Ottawa. I cannot personally come for any appointment. Today in the morning I got up at about 5.30 am with nausea, & stomach ache. Then I got extreme heat within & became somewhat unconscious followed by great stomach pain and after applying great pressure for about 20 minutes, I had hard & loose motions for about 1-2 hours and the routine followed after a gap of about 30 mts.after which I got extreme sweating followed shivering. After drinking water, the stomach pain repeated followed by the above routine. In the midst of my final sem.exam. at about 1030 am,, the same problem repeated. Now I am feeling weakness & no repetition of the problem. I had only taken veg.sandwich, cheese with cucumber with onions in the night before going to sleep. As no emergency Dr.is available, being weekend off, please advise the reasons for this sudden problem and medicines to take immediately, though I am not in panic due to my exams.

I am on bio-identical hormones and my testosterone level has gone from 62 to 247 in the last 8mos. My GYN has finally told me to stop the testosterone for a while. I ve been having abdominal pain and now lower/upper back pain for the past 3mos. Had ultrasound last wk and it came back showing uterus is anteverted, small hypoechoic foci likely respresents fibroids measuring 8mm. As well as a 1.5cm right ovarian cyst containing some internal debris and a 1.3cm simple left ovarian cyst. Can this be a result of the high testosterone? And is this something to be concerned about? And will these go away on their own?

Hi, i am writing on behalf of a friend. He had been diagnosed with having IBS when he was 13, without a colonoscopy, and now he is 25. He has been having abdominal pain and interchanges of diarrhea and constipation all these years but a month ago it suddenly got really worse (after having some fish, but even if it was bad, he had never experienced such excruciating pain again), as in one day he started to ache so much he couldn't get up off the floor. It was like stabbing and ripping him apart. He went to the hospital and had blood work done and an X-ray and they said it was normal but suggested a colonoscopy but he didn't go through with it. Ever since he has been having really severe abdominal pain and interchanges of diarrhea and constipation and he has been to several doctors, one prescribing him with amitriptyline and antibiotics for the intestine, and another after that giving him mebeverine hydrochloride alone. He took the antibiotics and amitriptyline for almost a month and it helped him a bit but in the evening he would none the less have the return of the severe pain in his entire abdomen, sometimes centering on the left upper side of it. Then he went to the other doctor who perscribed mebeverine hydrochloride, telling him it would instantly help, without that being the case when he tried it. He had extensive blood work done and everything was normal, no inflammation or anemia, and the doctor said he didn't need anything else and should just take the mebeverine. But he is still in pain and i was wondering if it could be something else with these symptoms. Should he have a colonoscopy or some other less painful test? He also has Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease.
