What Could Be The Reason For Itching On Back Of Head?

About a week ago I started itching in the back of my head and noticed bumps in it. There are no lice or bugs in my hair. Now this rash goes all down my spine and the itch is intense and is also on chest. It is also spread more throughout my head. What could this be?

Hi

From the description provided, it looks like you have developed seborrheic eczema.
This is essentially an itchy skin condition.
You need to apply a topical steroid lotion over the affected areas.
In addition, you should use a topical both dandruff shampoo over the scalp atleast twice a week.
Take some oral antihistamines for the associated itching.
Avoid using hair oil.
Do not use mustard oil as it can further increase the eczema.

See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist.
