What Could Be The Reason For Having A Redness Inside My Left Leg?
I have a redness inside my left leg from the ankle which goes towards my calf at times I get a very sharp pain and it almost feels like an electric shock My doctor put me on an anti inflammatory pill for one week thinking it would take the redness out but it is still there please help thank you Doctor
It seems that you may be having herpes zoster, a viral infection caused by VZV virus. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. You may be having vesicular eruptions with erythema and burning pain. You may take antiviral like acyclovir tab in proper dose, pain killer like tramadol, antibiotics and steroids in tappering dose. You may apply siver sulfadiazine cream. Gabapentin may be added if there is sharp neuralgic pain. I feel, you may be alright.
I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
