What Causes Vomiting With Pneumonia?

My husband was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in September of 2013. He is taking 60 mg pyridostigmine 4x daily, 100 mg azathyoprine 2x daily, 15 mg prednisone 1x daily. He had pneumonia in February & in March found out he has blood clots in both lower legs & in both lungs. Since he had pneumonia he has been vomiting almost daily. Part of it is phlegm but at times he vomits stomach contents. Our drs. don t seem to have an answer to why he is vomiting. He is not able to gain weight.

The pt is on azathioprine and prednisolone. It can affect the live enzymes and if they are high, this could be your reason for vomiting. Also anemia or low blood hemoglobin can be a reason for persistent vomiting. Kindly investigate him with CBC, liver function test and serum creatinine.
