General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are suffering from shaking while walking. Your vitals are normal. Your doctor has been treating you for vertigo. You ain't sure of your treatment. Since you are not sure of the treatment being given by your treating doctor and suspect it is due to wrong posture during neck yoga, you are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT.

Feeling dizzy while walking can be due to a number of factors like hypotension, hypoglycemia, neurological disorders, anemia, anxiety/stress, Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, poor general health condition, MI, etc. You should also get connected to a Physical therapist. You need to do exercises under observation to prevent worsening of the symptoms.

Your ENT will do the required tests, do audiometry tests as well. If required he may refer you to a GP, to check your gait , do Nerve conduction velocity tests. You may need CBT, cognitive behavior therapy and massage therapy. If vertigo is detected and confirmed you should take the medicines prescribed and stay at rest for a couple of days. Avoid doing any heavy work, do not drive. Keep away from addictions (smoking, alcohol, drugs, etc.) if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
