What Causes Soreness In The Ear, Rash On The Face And Swollen Neck?

Hi, my boyfriend recently came back from the army with a sore on his ear, and developed a rash on his face, after a couple of weeks the sore on his ear is starting to clear but he now has a swollen neck (below his ears) and now I have sores on the side of my face. I am very worried about this and can t take time off work to see a doctor for another few days, can you help?

Sore on the ears, rash on the face and then swollen neck.
And now you have sores on your side of face.
This looks to be a contagious problems. It is possible that this may be a sort of a fungal infection hence you got transferred the infection from close intimacy.
I would advise you the following:
Do not apply anything, just simply clean the face with plain water.
This helps the Dermatologist to get a proper picture of the disease and plan a proper treatment.
If you apply anything to such skin lesions the character of the disease changes and it becomes difficult to get a proper diagnosis and give correct treatment.
