What Causes Sore Throat And Severe Headache?
Hi. My throat felt sore/bruised for about 4 days then was gone yesterday but I had a minor cough and last night a pretty severe headache started. I woke up today with a persistent barking cough and a temperature of 100.2F...any advise? Is it just a cold? I am 22 yrs old, 5 7 and 130lbs.

Hello,
You can have upper respiratory tract infection most probably. You can take Dextromethorphan containing syrup for your cough. I suggest you take Paracetamol SOS for headache and Levocetirizine as decongestant. If no improvement than chest X-ray and CBC need to be done for further work up.
