What Causes Small Red Bites On My Ankles, Moving Up To Legs And Rash On My Hip?

I have small red bites on my ankles, moving up to my legs... also experiencing a slight rash/itch/same bumps on my left hip.. I am worried they are scabies. how can I tell? This has been going on for about a week now. It started at night, figured they may be bed-bugs..

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be lichen urticatus..a hypersensitivity reactions to insects. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to apply soothing lotion like calamine lotion. Take a course of oral steroid in tapering dose.Take antihistaminic like cetirizine. Avoid insects bite.

Hope this helps.
