Hi doctor, my 35 month old son has a rash that look like your picture for scarlet fever but he doesn t have a fever. The rash consists of red bumpy all over his back and chest and stomach. This went on for 2 days then it spreads to his upper arms then to the face in the next 3 days. Now some of it went down to the legs. He itches and wantS to scratch his back all the time. This is almost a week long now and I ve been giving him Benadryl before bed time but it just didn t seem to get better. His dr appt is Monday and I m hoping you can give me a clue to what he has or what else I can do for him prior to the dr visit. Also he already had roseola when he was 18 months old so he can t have it again, right? Thank you.
