What Causes Painful Ribs In Anaemic, D3 Deficient Female Having Flu Like Symptoms And Fatigue?

Hi I'm a 36 year old female. 3 weeks ago I started to feel pain around my bottom right rib and below it. Had abdominal ultrasound which came out clear. Blood showed some anemia, severe d3 deficiency and slightly low thyroid but still in range. Now pain feels like a burning feeling and is on the left and right lower portion of my ribcage. Having flu like symptoms and fatigue. Please help me.

hi
you have described the typical symptoms taht come out of having low vitamin D levels and anemia both, individually or together
i would have liked to know the exact levels of hemoglobin and vitamin D
i would also suggest you test for iPTH
thats a blood test

i would suggest you start on iron replacement and vitmain D replacement
also take vitamin B12, folate and calcium supplements

when you feel like it
after you feel a little better
get yourself a bone scan to make sure you dont have osteoporosis
if you do, some medicines will have to be added

i dont know if you are in india or abroad
or what your actual test reports are
so please let me know the reports for the exact dosing you may need

keep checking your complete hemogram every 15-20 days to know if the supplements are working.
i usually prefer to repeat vitamin D only after 6 weeks

hope that helps
best of luck
