What causes pain in hands and tingling of leg and numb foot?

I have Hashimoto disease. Just recently I started having all the time my hands are aching and a new syntom has just started yesterday with my left leg tingling and numb and my foot a little. I went to the hospital a few nights ago cause my throat was feeling tight and had diarrhea for a few days and some dizziness they just did basic bloodwork and said I had a UTI which I know I don't have. They stuck me eight times and could not draw blood my veins blew & rolled. I do not know what kind of doctor I should see about this and if I should be immediately concerned.

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms are suggestive of peripheral neuropathy or an electrolyte imbalance. Low blood pressure, caused by dehydration (diarrhea) could also contribute to all this clinical situation.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your GP and performing some tests:
- a resting ECG
- complete blood count
- a stool bacterial culture for infection
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalance
- thyroid hormone levels for possible imbalance.
A nerve conduction study may be necessary to examine your nerves if the numbness and tingling persists.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards!
