Hi welcome to the health care magic

You should consult otorhinolaryngologist for following work up...
-Auscultation
-posterior pharynx examination and lymph node palpation
-Throat swab or ASO titre
-CBC

You might need to given full antibiotic course

If swelling more than betamethasone 0.5 mg might prescribed by doctor...

Vitamin C lozenges taken...

Drink more water and avoid smoking

Take one tsp of ginger juice with honey

Salt water gargle done two times a day

Take care

Hope this will help
