What Causes Nose Bleeding?

Hi my boyfriend just woke up from his sleep with a nosebleed. This is not common for him, although it did happen about a year ago during this time of year. We live in Phoenix, AZ so it's very hot here and it's also monsoon season. Should we be worried and see a doctor?

Hello,
If its seasonal and had occurred last year and with no episode in between then you should not be worried.
There could be nose bleed because of dryness in the nose . You should take normal saline nasal sprays and use them for a long time like for few months.
For nose bleed take xylometazoline nose drops to decongest the nose and so the chances of bleeding will decrease.
It will be better if you get done ent consultation to see for any active bleeding site that could be stopped by chemical cautery.
In doubt do reply
