Do Ofloxacin Eye Drops Cause Nose Bleeding?

Hi, can eyedrops ‘Ofloxacin causes nose bleeding? My 22 months old started it last wednesday and on friday she started nose bleeding once a day for 5 consecutive days! Her doctor asked for a blood test to check the prob and he said that the eyedrops have nothing to do

Your doctor is very right. There is no relation between the drug and the bleeding , though drug can be absorbed even if used locally but this drug does not cause bleeding even if absorbed. She should see an ENT specialist to see if there could be anything local in the nose for the the bleeding, if normal then blood test are necessary to find the cause.
