What Causes Intermittent Spiking Of Fever?

hello doctor, i have been suffering from fever for more than a month. it comes and goes, sometimes I just have temperature for 2 hours and then gone. it may or may not come again for the day. Then next day the same , after some days its proper fever for 2 days. once it has gone to 39.2 on ear thermometer. Then in between i got chicken pox. Then i had blood test at that time and urine test too. They said there is blood in urine and the monocyte count and RBC count are high in blood, others were normal. honestly I worried about cancer hearing this. Doctor says all because of i have chicken pox. its a week before i recovered from chicken pox and there was no pain for me at all. just some fever and it cured easily. now a week after fever comes again it never shown a reading more than (37.5) thats the maximum i got), doctors says nothing to worry and I am creating myself to an ill person by my over anxiety about all those disease. he told me after the blood test yesterday that results will come up soon and as far as he saw from the first result of blood test when i had chicken pox also he is completely satisfied as there is nothing, and told me just eat what all u want as long as it is a balanced died and forget about the worry on health. i am still worried. whats the cause of fever. he checked for malaria and found nothing on the first blood test

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having a Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI ).
Fever along with presence of blood in urine are suggestive of UTI.

I would advise that you should get your urine examined for culture and sensitivity test.

You should drink lots of water daily.
Further medical management can be planned according to the reports of the investigations.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
