Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hi,

After delivery the thyroid function may get worsened due to postpartum thyroiditis. If you check the antibodies that cause hypothyroidism (AntiTPo, antiTG) you will notice a raise during this period. All we can do is to increase the dose of thyronorm and check the TSH level 6 weeks later until it reaches normal levels.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mirejta
