General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Your symptoms are related to a cold that is caused by a virus.
Except respiratory tract this virus has affected gastrointestinal tract, too.

In these cases to my patients I recommend:
1. Bed rest for a few days.
2. Drinking a lot of liquids.
3. Taking painkillers to relieve pain.
4. Taking Esomeprazole to relieve stomach pain.

If these symptoms last for more than three days then you need a physical examination by your physician to check disease complications.

I hope this answer is helpful.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
