What Causes Frequent Throat And Ear Infections With White Tongue?

My 2 years 9 months daughter has a white toungue at the back and she has some cracks that are not disappering despite having taken her to different paediatricians. She gets throat and ear infections regularly and this is causing me a lot of stress. How can I hepl her?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms white tongue is a sign of fungal infection in mouth known as Oral Thrush and it is possible that due to recurring throat and ear infections she is being advised antibiotics which can kill good bacteria present in mouth along with the harmful bacteria and as the good bacteria helps in preventing the other organisms like fungus to grow and cause infection..
The other thing is that if your daughter is suffering from recurrent throat and ear infections consult an ENT expert and get her thorough evaluation done and once the diagnosis is confirmed then only correct treatment ca be advised..

For thrush consult an oral physician or a pedodontist who can advise her nystatin oral drops and clotrimazole lozenges for resolving infection..
Feed her with more of probiotics like Yoghurt..
