What Causes Flu Like Symptoms With Red Dots On Face?

i have all the flu symptoms but i have a rash which is lots of little red dots, the rash is on my face but not the same little red dots just large areas of red, i have been told by dr.s that i could have scarlet fever, flu or glandular fever but i want a more precise answer if possible thank you.

Scarlet fever is a bacterial infection, most commonly seen in children. It is associated the presence of a rash. It would be associated with a sore throat.
It is possible that this is the cause of your symptoms.

In addition, viral illness such as the flu or cold can be associated with the presence of a rash though this is usually more widespread.
If you do not have any flu like symptoms , then this is not likely the cause.

Your doctor, because he or she would be able to physically examine you, would be able to provide a clearer diagnosis.
