What Causes Dizziness And Headache With A History Of Ovarian Cyst?

hello, I am due to have a 5cm ovarian cyst removed by lap in a weeks time. but, i feel so tired dizzy and generally unwell with a constant headache/migraine, could this be due to the cyst? I also have been having dull aches and sharp stabbing pains which led to the diagnosis after having ultrasound to confirm. I believe bloating is typical? CA125 came back normal Thank you. Paula

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It might be due to anemia or hypotension. Do a complete blood count and check blood pressure.

Ask to drink plenty of water especially salted feeds to keep hydrated.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
