Hi,

Delay in periods by a few days can occur due to hormonal imbalance, stress, nutritional deficiency, crash diet or vigorous exercise. Hormonal pills should be taken to regulate your cycles. You may have to continue the treatment for one or two months for correcting your hormonal abnormalities. I would suggest you to check the following hormone levels - FSH, LH, TSH,Serum prolactin.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
