What Causes Delayed Period After Stopping The Pill??
I last had my period 28th September , I stopped my pill completely instead of taking a weeks break , normally my period will come every 3 weeks at the end of the pill packet or the week after but I've had no sign of a period at all not even belly cramps which I normally get really bad
I would suggest you to take a pregnancy test in case of sexual intercourse in the last 2 weeks.Pregnancy is to be first ruled out in case of delayed period in any women of reproductive age group.
Delayed period can also occur due to stress, crash dieting, vigorous exercise or hormonal imbalance. Nutritional deficiency should also be ruled out. You may require a course of hormonal pills after monitoring results of pelvic ultrasound, complete blood count and thyroid function test.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
