What Causes Bulging Of Aparacentral Disc And Indentation Of Thecal Sac?
HI I have been diagnosed with l5-S1 left aparacentral disc that is bulging and is slightly indenting the thecal sac and contacts the S1 nerve root. also L4-5 mild diffuse annual balge - I have been in constant pain for 4 years. this was my diagnosis in 2007. i am waiting to see a surgeon again. i have been on pain meds constantly and have done physio, TENS and acupuncture...what do you suggest.
welcome to Health care magic. 1.As your reports says, mild indentation and disc bulge. 2.In this case one will ask you to do some exercise and rest, no intervention can be planned. 3.One can ask for physiotherapy. 4.If all that are not giving relief you need to see your specialist and plan for intervention. 5.Where the bulged out disc which is putting pressure on the sac will be excised and relived from pain. 6. i would recommend try more exercise, and try lying on a flat bed. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
