General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Headache and abdominal distention, which are usually seen with contraceptive implants and it is due to the hormonal action of these preparations. Generally, it will settle by itself even without any particular treatment.

You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain.

If symptoms persist, you can consult your gynecologist and be evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
