What Are The Side Effects Of Provera?
I m on day 4 out of 5 days of 10mg of Provera to induce a period. As of last night I finally started my cycle and I have been violently sick. I ve always had period issues but I have never been feeling like this. Is this b/c of Provera? Will Provera do this to me every time?

Medroxyprogesterone available in pharmacy under the brand name of Provera, a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone, can cause various side effects. Common side effects may include changes in menstrual bleeding patterns, such as irregular or heavy bleeding, or complete cessation of menstruation. Other common side effects may include breast tenderness, weight changes, bloating, headache, dizziness, mood changes, and nausea.
Less common but more serious side effects may include allergic reactions, severe abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe headaches, vision changes, or swelling in the extremities. Provera will not do this to you every time however if you are allergic to this medicine then consult your gynecologist.
