Hello

The muffling of the ear may be due to rupture/damage to your ear drum because of the smack.
The headache and tonsil infection is unlikely to be due to the trauma and may reflect an infection in your throat or sinus.
Please meet your ent doctor as you need to be examined properly before any conclusion can be made.
Please keep the ear dry and start gargling with warm salt water, this will help.
Thanks
