What Are The Symptoms Of Scoliosis?

My eighteen year old boyfriend has some form of scoliosis in his neck. Sometimes he cannot eat or when he eats it gets stuck in his throat and he can t breath well. He says it gives him a headache and he either has to make himself throw up or wait for it to pass. Is this normal?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to pathology at the spine (scoliosis) or neck muscles contraction called torticollis.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Get it done x-ray of the cervical spine and consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
