What Are The Symptoms Of Potential Bipolar Disorder?

I think i have bipolar disorder and really need to be sectioned for my own good. I'm hysterical, manic, and i just cannot cope anymore. It gets so bad, that i smash things up, and then lay on the floor sobbing and rocking. Please help me someone. if i got to a doctor in person, i will be hysterical and sob.

I can understand your concern about your health.
As you reported you think you are suffering from bipolar disorder.
Bipolar disorder is a psychiatric condition in which person has mood swings. Usually they suffer from either depression or mania, but many times both depression and mania can give symptoms simultaneously. Many people only suffer from repeated attack of mania only.
Symptoms of depression would be sadness, disinterest, weakness/lethargy feelings, poor concentration, changed appetite and sleeping habit etc.
While person in mania usally have grandiosity, increased talking, increased feeling of strength/power, racing of thoughts, decreased need for sleep etc.
For proper evaluation of your self , get help from Psychiatrist in person , as mental state examination is very important part of making diagnosis.
