I have been taking Vyvanse for 3 weeks, I am a 37 yr old female. My bp and pulse are slightly higher than they used to be but not concerning. The last two days I have had joint pain mostly in areas where I have had wear and tear but it does not usually bother me near this much. Also both my big toes hurt ( in the flesh not the joint). I have had ongoing numbness and tinglung in my wrusts and hands for 10 years but it seems worse than usual. Could this be related to the med? And should I be concerned? I have a follow up appt in 3 weeks should I ask for it to be moved up?
Vyvanse is known to be associated with muscle and joint pains, swelling of limbs, shakiness of legs and arms (if taken in high doses). Tingling and numbness can occur as rare side effect of Vyvanse. In my opinion, your problems might be this rare side effect of vyvanse, but as it might be a symptom associated with other neuropathies as well, a proper examination is a must. Its not very urgent, so you can go on with your scheduled appointment.
