It helps in controlling the allergic manifestations like sneezing, rhinitis, etc. Your treating doctor is the best judge to decide the period of treatment. Rupatadine can have following side effects:- Headache Weakness, fatigue Dry mouth Dizziness Drowsiness,etc. Please mention the name of the nasal spray you are using. Nasal sprays should not be used for long periods as they can increase the nasal congestion in long term use. Saline nasal drops are safer to use for long periods. You can also go for steam inhalation. I would advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an ENT specialist to rule out Deviated Nasal Septum(DNS).
